By law and for crew safety, a few items need specialist disposal — we'll point you to the right service.

• Asbestos and asbestos-containing material (specialist licensed removal)
• Liquid paint, oils, fuels, solvents
• Gas bottles (return to supplier)
• Pool chemicals, pesticides, herbicides
• Medical waste, sharps, biohazards
• Ammunition, fireworks, flares
• Tyres in large volumes (we take 1–4)

How pricing works

Three factors drive the price: volume (how much of the truck it fills), weight (heavy materials like concrete and soil), and access (stairs, lift, distance from truck).

• Min charge — single item from $80
• 1/4 truckload (~2m³) — from $220
• 1/2 truckload (~4m³) — from $380
• 3/4 truckload (~6m³) — from $520
• Full truckload (~8m³) — from $660
• Heavy load surcharge — bricks, soil, concrete (per m³)
• After-hours / Sunday — additional

Preparing your pile

• Pile in one spot near the driveway or front gate
• Separate heavy materials (soil, bricks) from light (furniture)
• Empty drawers and wardrobes — saves time and weight
• Detach legs from beds and table tops if possible
• Bag loose items and garden waste
• Keep a path clear from the truck to the pile

Recycling & charity diversion

Every load we collect is sorted at a licensed transfer station. Anything reusable goes to local charities or recyclers before landfill.

• Steel and metals — recycled at scrap yards
• Cardboard, paper, glass, plastic — sorted at transfer station
• Working furniture and white goods — offered to charity partners
• Mattresses — diverted to dedicated mattress recyclers
• Green waste — composted or mulched
• E-waste — TVs, screens, computers — taken to E-waste drop-off

• After-hours and Sunday available with a small surcharge
